BEMA
BAKERY EXPO 2007 COMMITTEE
The purpose of this committee is to serve as the Association's
representative on the International Baking Industry
Exposition (IBIE) Committee for the exposition that
is sponsored jointly by the American Bakers Association
(ABA) and BEMA. This Committee is responsible for
all IBIE convention and exposition interests affecting
BEMA and its' members.

CONVENTIONS/PROGRAMS
COMMITTEE
The purpose of this committee is to oversee the March
Winter Summit Meeting held in conjunction with ASBE
and the June Annual Meeting held each year.

EDUCATION
COMMITTEE
The purpose this committee is to oversee and review
current Association services and to recommend new
programs which could benefit the entire membership.
This committee is also responsible for the member's
Advantage Program and the BEMA Scholarship Program.

FINANCE
COMMITTEE
The Finance Committee oversees the finances of the
Association, develops the annual budget and monitors
the Association's investments.

INTERNATIONAL
COMMITTEE
The International Committee considers matters pertaining
to foreign trade and gathers, prepares and disseminates
to the membership, such industry information, data
and statistics that maybe of interest. This can include
assisting BEMA members who import to the U.S. and
export to foreign countries. The committee will establish
and maintain working relationships with bakery industry
supplier organizations worldwide.
