Attending in-person? Pack your bags for a memorable stay at the Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Convention will kick-off with daytime activities and an evening Welcome Reception on Friday, June 28th, and will conclude with the Chairman’s festivities Monday evening, July 1st. Convention 2024 will offer industry insight sessions, BEMA Connect and a variety of opportunities to network and build valuable connections.
BEMA CONVENTION 2024: WORKFORCE EDITION
Prefer a virtual experience? Take part in the Workforce Edition, being held Friday, June 28th, then continue along with BEMA Live being shared virtually on the 29th and 30th, all from the comfort of your home or office. Friday’s programming will bring unique and interactive professional development workshops with opportunities to learn skills that you can utilize immediately.

Name Badges
Name badges are provided for all registered attendees. Your name badge is required at all organized functions. Name badges will be available at the BEMA registration desk.

While you never know what Mother Nature will bring, daily temperatures generally range from 68°F to 73°F, rarely falling below 64°F or exceeding 78°F.

Daily Resort Fee
The standard $50 daily resort fee has been reduced to $15 per day for BEMA Convention guests, and includes:
- Wireless internet for up to three devices in-room
- In-room coffee and tea set up
- Two bottles of water placed in-room upon check-in
- Nightly turndown service upon request
- Self-guided walking maps curated by the resort’s naturalist
- Access to The Link’s short game practice area (clubs required)
- Pool chair and umbrella usage
- Wireless cloud printing and additional business services
- Exclusive access to the Lexus Experience Amazing Drive Opportunity
- Fitness center access, including daily fitness and wellness classes
- Nightly live music via Terranea’s Sound Series

HOTEL RESERVATION DEADLINE: May 24th, 2024. After this date, BEMA cannot guarantee availability and rates.
Guaranteed Reservations
All reservations will require a non-refundable deposit equal to first night’s group room rate and tax at the time the reservation is confirmed.
Baker & Speaker Guests
Bakers are guests of BEMA and do not need to book their own hotel room. Emily Bowers will assist you in securing your reservation, as well as making any modifications.

BEMA has reserved various room types for our group. Prices are exclusive of tax, resort fee and parking fees.

Need more space? BEMA has secured a limited number of connecting rooms as well as a limited number of suites that will accommodate larger families. Please email Kelly Allen for assistance booking suites or connecting rooms.
*Sleeping room rates are quoted in US Dollars exclusive of applicable taxes and resort fee. A resort fee of $15 per night plus 10% tax per room per night will be charged.
Parking is available for $25 per day, per vehicle.

HOTEL RESERVATION DEADLINE: 5:00 PM PST, MAY 24, 2024
Cancellations for your BEMA Convention Registration received in writing by close of business on May 31st, 2024, will be refunded less a 10% cancellation charge. Cancellations for your BEMA Convention Registration received in writing by close of June 1st through close of business on June 14th will receive a 75% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after close of business on June 14th, 2024.

SMALL GROUP DINNERS WITH BAKERS
Connect with customers in a small-group setting. BEMA will organize groups of bakers and suppliers for a personal dinner experience. Spouses/adult guests are invited to attend small- group dinners. We do ask that you make other arrangements for children during the small group dinners.
BEMA CONNECT: ONE MEMBER, ONE BAKER, CONNECTING
BEMA Connect introduces bakers to suppliers they aren’t currently working with and matches the baker’s needs with supplier solutions. Meet one-on-one with baker guests, speed dating style.
*An email with registration details for BEMA Connect and Small Group Dinners will be sent to registered Convention attendees on May 17, 2024.
BEMA CUP GOLF TOURNAMENT
Los Verdes Golf Course is a beautiful, Billy Bell-designed course that offers the best ocean views in the entire state of California. The nearby ocean makes putting a real challenge on almost every hole. Los Verdes Golf Course is considered by many to be one of the best golf values anywhere, tucked above the cliffs in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
NON-GOLF ACTIVITY
Not hitting the links this year? You can still network and meet other attendees at the non-golf activity. This fun event will take place at the hotel at the same time as the BEMA Cup Golf Tournament.
CHAIRMAN’S DINNER
Celebrate a great year as we pass the gavel to the next chairman, then dance the night away. The whole family is invited to this event! Please plan on festive, semi-formal cocktail party attire for the Chairman’s events. Not sure what “semi-formal” means? Dressier than church, but not as dressy as black-tie!
