Founded in 1920, the Allied Trades of the Baking Industry is an organization which exists to serve the grain-based food industry through cooperation between a large cross-section of suppliers to the wholesale manufacturers that each day provide our country with bread, rolls, cereals, cakes, cookies, crackers, tortillas and any number of other items that incorporate grains as their base. It is an organization that values the relationships which have been built between the supplier and the manufacturer over the 100+ years since its inception.
Serving Members from global commercial baking companies and suppliers to baking industry entrepreneurs, the American Bakers Association (ABA) is the only bakery-specific national and state trade association, delivering results on priorities affecting the companies that feed the world.

ASB is a community of commercial baking professionals striving for the advancement of our field. Through continuing education, networking opportunities, and professional development, we facilitate the growth of our industry one member at a time. The Society strives to facilitate personal and professional development through education and collaboration. Our beloved industry employs 330,000 hard-working professionals at over 600 commercial baking plants. That’s why ASB makes it our goal to improve the professional lives of our members.

Leading the baking industry’s commitment to safe, sanitary equipment design. BEAG works with bakery equipment manufacturers to assess equipment conformance with ANSI/ASB Z50 standards and support greater confidence in hygienic equipment design across the commercial baking industry.

Advocating for Canadian Food-Based Businesses. Since 1989, Food Producers of Canada (FPC) has advocated for growth and advancement in Canada’s food production sector with a large and diverse membership base and partner community.

PMMI is a global resource for the packaging and processing industry, uniting the industry across the manufacturing supply chain. Our members promote business growth in a variety of industries by developing innovative manufacturing solutions to meet evolving consumer demands, today and in the future. PMMI membership represents more than 1,000 manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, components and materials as well as providers of related equipment and services to the packaging and processing industry.

We provide networking opportunities for women in the baking industry. Another key component to our philosophy is to mentor students of baking and milling science that are entering the baking field as a career, the majority of which are currently women.

In our bakeries, women build professional skills and earn stable incomes as they bake nutritious baked goods for local customers and schoolchildren. From there, the benefits extend to bakers’ families and the broader community.
