Commercial Baking Industry Awareness Program

To showcase the career opportunities available in the baking industry, BEMA has developed the first Commercial Baking Industry Awareness Program, designed for students enrolled in programs related to engineering, manufacturing, business development, skilled trades, and vocational disciplines.

The program includes a complimentary pass to IBIE, the Western Hemisphere’s largest baking industry tradeshow, where nearly 1,000 leading manufacturers and suppliers from around the world will showcase their products and technology. Exhibitors will display production equipment and baking supplies, ingredients, packaging materials and systems, refrigeration systems, sanitation equipment, computerized technologies, transportation and distribution equipment, and more.

Each student selected for the program will be paired with a BEMA member company as their personal host at IBIE and will have the opportunity to explore the tradeshow floor on Wednesday, September 21st. BEMA will also provide students with a SuperPass to IBIEducate, the largest educational offering in the grain-based foods industry. The pass, valued at $175, includes access to all $30 sessions offered Saturday through Tuesday.
