IBIE 2022 Sponsorship Opportunities
The largest event for the grain-based foods industry in the Western Hemisphere is jointly owned and produced by BEMA and the American Bakers Association (ABA), with support from the Retail Bakers of America (RBA). Held in Las Vegas every three years, the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) brings together all segments of the supply chain and professional baking community to fuel the next generation of bakers, promote economic growth, educate and advance the future of baking. All proceeds from this nonprofit event are invested back into the industry.
Known as a “working show,” where millions of dollars of business are conducted daily, IBIE connects the global baking ecosystem, showcasing the complete range of equipment, supply and ingredient solutions, plus new baking technology in 1 million square feet of space.

HOW IBIE CAME TO BE
The roots of IBIE—also known as Baking Expo™—took hold in the Roaring ‘20s, amid the prosperity of the post-World War I period. Sliced bread was just hitting the shelves, toasters and bread mixers were taking America by storm, and the first gas-fired ovens were replacing coal stoves in professional kitchens, helping the bakery industry rise to prominence. In 1920, just two years after BEMA was formed, the association called the industry together for a national exposition at Atlantic City’s Million Dollar Pier, and the idea for an annual gathering was born. ABA joined BEMA as a co-sponsor of the event was joined by ABA in 1949, as extruders debuted to streamline production and factories shifted focus to meet growing consumer demand spurred by the post-World War II boom.
