Self-parking is $40 + tax per day.
Valet parking is available for $60 + tax per day.

The State of Hawaiʻi enforces a pet quarantine and laws have changed recently to become less stringent on animals traveling from outside the state of Hawaiʻi.
An additional “pet charge” of $75 USD + tax per night, per pet will be added to your account. This fee will cover pet amenities such as a silicone water dish and toy (which you may take home as a keepsake), dog bed (for hotel use only), puppy pads and waste baggies, as well as special cleaning procedures during your stay and after departure. Should you require a pet sitter or walking services during your stay, our team will be happy to provide you with an informational flyer.
Additionally, the following rules apply to all pet stays:
- Pets cannot be left unattended at any time during your stay.
- Pets are not allowed in restaurants or at the pool, unless it’s a service animal trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Pets are not allowed anywhere in the public areas of the Mauna Lani Resort, including roads and shops.
- For your safety, all pets must be leashed or in their carrier while in public areas.

THURSDAY, JUNE 25, 2026 — Captain Zodiac Raft Expedition
Time:
Depart Fairmont Orchid: 6:15 a.m.
Check in: 7:00 a.m. / Rafting: 7:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
Return to resort: 12:00 p.m.
Included:
- Snacks – cookies, chips, sodas, juices, water
- Snorkel gear, flotation devices, prescription masks, and instructions
Notes:
- Participants must be able to climb a ladder to exit/enter the raft from the water. The maximum weight limit that the ladder can handle is 320 lbs. Non-ladder participants are welcome to enjoy the rafting experience, however, they are NOT permitted to go in the water.
- Pregnant women and persons with back problems are not permitted.
- Participants should wear a swimsuit and cover up, bring their own hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and towel.
- Participants should keep electronics like cameras and cell phones in a waterproof bag.
- Hawaii Island bans the sale, distribution, and use of non-mineral sunscreens. For safety reasons, spray-on sunscreen is not allowed as it can make the surfaces very slippery.
- Children must be a minimum of 5 years of age and be accompanied by a parent.
- Participants must sign a release and waiver of liability prior to taking the tour.
THURSDAY, JUNE 25, 2026 – Custom Volcano Tour
Time:
Depart Fairmont Orchid: 7:45 a.m.
Return to hotel: 3:30 p.m.
Included:
- Guided walk/hike
- Morning Snack – protein and trail mix bars
- Bottled water and Hawaiian main canned juices
- Your interpretive guide will illuminate the historical events that have changed the landscape of the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park forever
- Spend approximately 2.5 hours in the National Park, walking, sightseeing, and enjoying a picnic lunch amongst some of the highlights of HVNP
- Picnic Box Lunch
- Use of daypacks, walking sticks, rain gear, warm wear, bug repellent, and sunscreen (as needed)
- All access fees.

Notes:
- Physical – Guests on this tour should not be physically challenged or unable to walk short distances of 2 to 3 miles on uneven terrain. (easy to moderate hiking)
- Must be 8 years of age or older.
- Recommended attire includes a light jacket or sweatshirt, wearing closed-toe sport shoes or walking shoes, (NO sandals or flip-flops) comfortable walking shorts and bring a hat and sunscreen.
- Hawaii bans the sale, distribution, and use of non-mineral sunscreens. For safety reasons, spray-on sunscreen is not allowed as it can make the surfaces very slippery.
- Participants must sign a release and waiver of liability prior to taking the tour.
THURSDAY, JUNE 25, 2026 — Deep Sea Fishing
Time:
Depart Fairmont Orchid: 6:30 a.m.
Check in: 7:15 a.m. / Fishing Trip: 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Return to hotel: 12:15 p.m.
Included:
- All fishing supplies, bait, and tackle
- Cooler with ice for beverages. Please bring your own beverages (no glass containers).
Notes:
- For safety reasons, glass bottles and bananas are not allowed.
- Participants should bring a cover up, hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
- Passengers should keep electronics like cameras and cell phones in a waterproof bag.
- Hawaii now requires a license for recreational ocean fishing for non-Hawaii residents. If anyone in your party is fishing, you will need to obtain this license. Each individual needs to create a separate online account. The license is easy to get at the Department of Land and Natural Resources-Division of Aquatic Resources website https://fishing.hawaii.gov/. When applying insert the name of the charter company: Kona Fishing Charters.
- The cost is $20.00 for a 1-day license, $40.00 for a 7-day license, and $70.00 for an annual license.
- Non-resident youth under 15 years of age and all active-duty military personnel and their families do not need a license. If you are not able to purchase your license ahead of time, you can purchase a license day-of on your smartphone.
- The State of Hawaii bans the sale, distribution, and use of non-mineral sunscreens. For safety reasons, spray-on sunscreen is not allowed as it can make surfaces very slippery.
- Guests are NOT required to sign a liability waiver.

Morning Tour

Included:
- Guided walk/hike tour, and optional waterfall swim
- Filtered water (vendor provides a reusable drinking container or participants can bring their own)
- Use of daypack, walking sticks, and rain gear (as needed)
Notes:
- Fitness level: easy to moderate. Guests must be able to walk over uneven, muddy terrain and manage short climbs. The walking distance is less than 2 miles. 15-Minutes of rugged four-wheel driving.
- Not recommended for pregnant women or anyone with neck or back problems.
- Guests should wear closed-toed walking shoes, (NO sandals or flip-flops) bathing suit under shorts, and bring a hat, sunscreen, a light sweater/pullover, and a towel.
- The State of Hawaii bans the sale, distribution, and use of non-mineral sunscreens. For safety reasons, spray-on sunscreen is not allowed as it can make surfaces very slippery.
- Children under 3 years old must be carried in a backpack carrier. Children under 4 years old must ride in the car seat. Children 4-7 years of age must ride in a booster seat, car & booster seats will be provided by the vendor upon request with advanced notice.

Whether you’re a seasoned pickleball pro or you’ve never picked up a paddle, this inaugural tournament is all about friendly competition, big laughs, and doing good together. Teams will battle it out on the courts for bragging rights, a touch of glory, and—most importantly—to support a wonderful local charity. Every rally, dink, and smash helps make a difference in our host community.
THURSDAY, JUNE 25, 2026 — Spirit of Aloha Catamaran Snorkel Sail
Time:
Depart Fairmont Orchid: 7:45 a.m.
Check in: 8:00 a.m. / Snorkel Sail: 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Return to hotel: 11:45 a.m.
Included:
- 3-hour snorkel sail
- Snacks, unlimited water, juice, soda
- Two (2) complimentary alcoholic beverages per adult (after swimming and snorkeling)
- In-water help by Lifeguard-certified crew
- Required safety vest & sanitized re-usable snorkel gear.
Notes:
- Participants should wear a swimsuit and cover up, bring their own hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and towel.
- This is a barefoot cruise, participants are required to remove their shoes prior to boarding. Shoes will be stored onboard and returned as you disembark.
- Participants are shuttled from the shoreline via raft (your feet will get wet) out to board the catamaran at Anaeho‘omalu Bay.
- Hawaii bans the sale, distribution, and use of non-mineral sunscreens. For safety reasons, spray-on sunscreen is not allowed as it can make the surfaces very slippery.
- Participants should also keep electronics like cameras and cell phones in a waterproof bag.
- Alcohol beverages will be available after swimming and snorkeling. A valid picture ID is required to consume alcoholic beverages. Must be 21 years or older.
