The Baking Industry Forum (BIF) brings bakers and suppliers together for candid, collaborative conversations about issues impacting the commercial baking industry—and the meetings are traditionally closed to outside attendees. For this special BakingTECH session, BIF is opening the room.
Using a fishbowl format, attendees will have a rare opportunity to listen in as BIF members continue an important industry dialogue around hygienic design, equipment safety, guarding and cleanability. The conversation will explore opportunities for greater alignment among bakers, OEMs, sanitation and safety professionals; the gaps between existing standards and operational realities; and potential paths toward voluntary guidance, shared design principles and industry best practices.
But this isn’t just a conversation to observe. As the discussion progresses, BakingTECH attendees will be invited to move from listening to participating, adding their own experiences, questions and perspectives to the dialogue. Listen in. Learn from the baker-supplier exchange. Then pull up a chair and help move the conversation forward.
