IBIE Announces New Committee Officers
The IBIE 2016 Committee welcomed two new committee members at the spring strategic planning meeting in Orlando, FL this past weekend: Robert L. Benton of Flowers Foods, Inc. and Jorge Zárate of Grupo Bimbo.

The Truth About Gluten
BEMA supported the Wheat Foods Council effort to dispel myths about gluten with research and facts. “There is a popular belief that gluten is bad for everyone. This is not the case. There is no evidence to show that anyone who does not suffer from celiac disease (CD) or non-celiac gluten sensitivity (NCGS) benefits from following a gluten-free diet.”
