Unique Networking Events

BEMA Connect: One Member, One Baker, Connecting

BEMA Connect introduces bakers to suppliers they aren’t currently working with and matches the baker’s needs with your specific solutions. Meet one-on-one with baker guests, speed dating style.

Small Group Dinners with Bakers

Connect with customers in a small-group setting. We’ll organize small groups of bakers and suppliers – spouses/guests included – to enjoy local restaurants.*

*An email with registration details for BEMA Connect and Small Group Dinners will be sent to registered Convention attendees on May 10, 2021.

Golf Tournament

The Rookery at Marco, is the setting for the BEMA Cup. Play your way through a golf course that both challenges and amazes. Revamped by acclaimed golf course designer Robert Cupp, Jr., The Rookery at Marco in Naples, Florida blends a resort private course atmosphere with the stunning natural surroundings of Marco Island to create a golf experience that is entirely unique.

Striking in both beauty and challenge, the surrounding lakes and ponds are home to abundant wildlife, including bald eagles, alligators, blue herons and many other types of water birds. Playing here provides a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with nature.

At more than 7,100 yards in length, the playing experience includes: fast greens, pristine turf condition, the option to play from one of five teeing locations, and a state-of-the-art GPS yardage system.

Chairman’s Dinner

Celebrate a great year as we pass the gavel to the next chairman, then dance the night away. The whole family is invited to this event. Dust off those dressy shoes, as attire for the Chairman’s festivities is black tie.

Family beach party

Join us for our final afternoon of fun on the beach. All Members, Guests and Baker Guests are invited to enjoy a variety of games and outdoor entertainment. Rest your toes in the sand, soak up some sunshine or go for a splash in the ocean before we say farewell.

Local Attractions

BEMA-Colors-Separator-Line-1-1536x10

Are you up for an adventure? When you visit Marco Island, you’ll learn that it is situated at the northern point of the Florida Gulf Coast’s Ten Thousand Islands and fronted by miles of sandy, white beaches. As a result, Marco Island offers the ideal conditions for activities that suit both nature lovers and adventurers alike. In your Convention downtime, you can experience this beautiful region of Florida with a guided excursion through one of its many attractions.

We encourage you to make a reservation that is the perfect fit for your family’s stay on the Island.

Experience the Western Everglades
A visit to Audubon’s Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is a journey into the heart of the Everglades ecosystem. Discover the rugged beauty of this famed natural area on Corkscrew’s famous boardwalk – a 2.5-mile adventure through pine flatwoods, wet prairie, around a marsh, and finally into the largest old growth Bald Cypress forest in North America.

Located about 30 minutes east of Naples, Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is home to hundreds of alligators, otters, white-tailed deer, and red-bellied turtles. A wide variety of wading birds, songbirds, raptors and the fabulous Painted Bunting can be seen throughout the year. Photo opportunities are available at every turn of the boardwalk trail.
