16 Aug IBIEducate – Mark Your Calendars
We’re living in a time where there are many places to find information, yet it’s hard to know if the time spent searching is time well spent. With an abundance of resources available, how does one keep up with it all, especially as we look for ways to keep our lives and our businesses informed and moving forward?
Now more than ever, we need reliable access to quality information. I think this is why the demand for high-quality educational offerings continues to grow and why education is a major element of BEMA’s strategic plan.
Ready to Educate
This October 26-28, you can participate in three days of best-in-class professional development at IBIEducate 2021 at the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Here, you’ll discover a forum of educational and professional development, the kind IBIE is so well known for. These are one-of-a-kind immersive experiences that will only be available at this in-person event.
Joint initiatives such as this conference continue to demonstrate the ongoing importance of working together to inform and strengthen the industry – building upon the trials, connections and innovations of our members and sharing our findings. BEMA is proud to bring this incredible educational opportunity to the industry in partnership with ABA.
Throughout the three-day gathering, attendees will have the opportunity to attend more than 20 hands-on, interactive sessions about everything from production and sanitary design, formulation and technology advancements to the navigation of workforce disruptions and innovative strategies for labor issues.
IBIEducate will also feature numerous opportunities to get your hands in the mix including co-located workshops by the Retail Bakers of America, peer-to-peer networking and facility tours. With access to numerous interactive sessions, attendees will leave IBIEducate prepared for what’s next with downloadable materials, access to presentations, activity sheets, materials and notes for future use.
This iteration of IBIEducate 2021, a first in IBIE’s 100-year history, is also a great jumping off point in your preparations for IBIE 2022, our industry’s triennial event. October’s IBIEducate 2021 will offer individuals and companies a valuable precursor to some of the great content and information you’ll find in Las Vegas at IBIE 2022 next year.
“Participants at IBIEducate 2021 will step away from their computer screens and their work facilities and step into interactive learning that can only be done in-person,” said Robb MacKie, President and CEO, ABA. “The ROI on this type of training, especially after more than a year and a half apart, will be invaluable for baking industry employees.”
Events like IBIEducate provide our industry a forum to defy convention and embrace disruption as we collaborate to make our industry even better together. Thank you also to our media partners: Commercial Baking, Snack Food and Wholesale Bakery and Sosland Publishing.
