The year started with higher but relatively stable tariff levels for companies to determine pricing strategies.  Importers have since welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision that IEEPA tariffs are not legal, and CBP’s roll out of its new system to process IEEPA tariff refunds.  At the same time, Section 122 tariffs have replaced IEEPA,  Section 232 tariffs on steel and aluminum have changed again.  More tariff actions are expected this summer making for possible new increases.
