The majestic Rockies provided an amazing backdrop for a week-long event focused on sharing industry insights, collaborating with colleagues and building new business connections. Convention attendees were provided current information on trends in a variety of emerging markets and interactive sessions featuring rich discussion with industry experts.

  • Informal Smart Casual
    • Women: While there are no rules, smart casual requires a degree of polish, such as a blazer or accessories. Flats or heels, pants or dresses, and jackets and sweaters are acceptable.
    • Men: In general, smart casual means neat chinos or a pair of dark-colored jeans with a shirt, a blazer, and a pair of leather shoes. Leave your traditional tie at home!

BEMA Connect: One Member, One Baker, Connecting

BEMA Connect introduces bakers to suppliers they aren’t currently working with and matches the baker’s needs with your specific solutions. Meet one-on-one with baker guests, speed dating style.


Small Group Dinners with Bakers

Connect with customers in a small-group setting. We’ll organize groups of eight bakers and suppliers – spouses/guests included – to enjoy local restaurants.*

*An email with registration details for BEMA Connect and Small Group Dinners will be sent to registered Convention attendees on May 10, 2019.


Golf Tournament

Red Sky Ranch, is the setting for the BEMA Cup.  The courses, designed by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman, feature stunning mountain views. This scramble tournament incorporates rules that make play fun for advanced and beginner golfers alike.


Theme Dinner

Join us for an evening of music, food and fun with Colorado flair at 4 Eagle Ranch (link to ranch website) just outside of Vail! We’ll provide the bus; don’t forget your boots!


Chairman’s Dinner

Celebrate a great year as we pass the gavel to the next chairman, then dance the night away.  The whole family is invited to this event. Suggested attire for the evening is upscale casual. Dressy jeans are appropriate.

On Wednesday, June 19, spend the afternoon in Vail. Enjoy adventure activities for all ages at the top of the mountain at Epic Discovery. Or, enjoy the great shopping and amazing food and drink options in Vail. Free shuttle provided. Separate purchase and registration required for Epic Discovery/Adventure Ridge.

HOTEL RESERVATION DEADLINE:  MAY 28, 2019, 5:00 pm MDT.  After this time, BEMA cannot guarantee availability and rates.


A deposit of one night’s room rate, resort fee (if applicable) and tax will be charged to your credit card at the time of booking. If you cancel 72 hours (3 full days) or more before your arrival date the deposit is fully refundable. If you cancel within 72 hours of your arrival date or if you fail to cancel (no-show), you will be charged 100% of your entire expected stay including resort fee (if applicable) and tax.

Early Departure/Late Arrival

Please make every effort to ensure that your booking remains accurate.  If, after your expected date of arrival, you depart early or arrive late, you will be charged 100% of your entire expected stay including resort fee (if applicable) and tax.


Bakers are guests of BEMA and do not need to book their own hotel room.

If you booked your room at the Park Hyatt, Beaver Creek in the BEMA room block, we’ve worked to make the transition as easy as possible for you!  Details will be sent to you in individual emails.  Please call the office with additional questions (913-338-1300).

BEMA has reserved various room types for our group. Prices below are exclusive of tax, resort fee and parking fees.*


King or two queens – $229

There are also larger rooms available at rates ranging from $269 to $315.  Please reach out to the hotel directly to book.

*Sleeping room rates are quoted in US Dollars exclusive of applicable taxes and resort fee. Current tax rate is 9.8%. The resort fee (usually $50 per night) has been waived as a courtesy to all BEMA guests staying at the Hotel Talisa.

Valet parking has been reduced to $15 per night.

As Hotel Talisa is a Luxury Collection Resort under the Marriott brand, their website and confirmation emails will state the standard resort charge of $50. Please be assured that the resort charge will be waived for all BEMA hotel reservations at the time the deposit is taken. All deposits will be processed manually by the hotel’s in-house reservations team 3 days prior to arrival.

Cancellations for your BEMA Convention Registration received in writing by close of business on Friday, June 7th, 2019 will be refunded less a 5% cancellation charge. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after Friday, June 7th, 2019.
