24 Feb CEO Insights: IBIE Supplier Resources
Making the Most of IBIE Marketing Assistance
Some time ago, and we won’t talk about how long, I was the Marketing/Communications Manager for Shick Tube-Veyor, now Shick Esteve. Every three years during my 16-year tenure in the role, I would shift into IBIE mode, building a booth, staffing schedules, and brainstorming on ways to promote our latest offerings to customers and prospects.
Fast forward a couple of years, or more, and here we are planning another IBIE event. As the Western Hemisphere’s largest and most comprehensive baking event, I’m amazed at the ongoing advances in marketing and sales assistance provided by IBIE, and the 2022 show is shaping up to be no exception. Keep reading to learn about the best ways to represent your company’s brand at IBIE 2022!
IBIE Marketing Modules
Starting in March, marketing and tradeshow team members at our member companies can begin tapping into the great exhibitor toolkits online at https://www.bakingexpo.com/exhibit/promotion-toolkit/. Use of the toolkit is an easy way to assist with lead generation, strengthen brand association with IBIE and showcase your business’s equipment and services.
Grouped in actionable three-month segments, the IBIE Exhibitor Promotion Toolkit demonstrates how to maximize your connections with the expected 1000’s of baking professionals and the 88% of attendees there with the green light to approve, specify or recommend purchases.
From March through May, companies can secure onsite sponsorships and begin advertising the presence of your company at IBIE. With booth number and unique exhibitor information in hand, you’re ready to tap into a number of marketing tools designed to boost contacts with current customers and new prospects from national and international markets. To further your reach, you might consider inquiring about sponsorships. For more info, email sponsorships@BakingExpo.com or call (913) 338-1300.
The IBIE Exhibitor Toolkit also includes easy-to-implement, high-resolution logos and graphics for use on company websites, email communications and newsletters. Apply these tools to boost IBIE recognition! Companies can also order “Visit Us at IBIE” table tents for use at shows you’ll be attending leading up to IBIE and to jumpstart workforce engagement in the office around the biggest show of the year.
You can further spread the news of your company’s participation in IBIE with plug-and-play banner ads, email signature graphics and templates to customize a press release, a postcard or an evite for prospective and current customers. There are also templates for LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to help create a cohesive IBIE social media campaign leading up to and through the September show. And don’t forget to start tagging your social media posts now with @BakingExpo and #IBIE2022.
September will be here before we know it, so start planning now to make the most of your IBIE experience pre-, during and post-show. Stay tuned for more info on the toolkits in upcoming BEMA CEO notes this spring and summer.
