Ronald van Bakergem, President of Irinox North America Inc, the U.S. subsidiary of IRINOX SpA (parent company), a leading European Industrial Manufacturer.   Ronald has been with the company for 2 years.

As a member of BEMA, he feels it can help educate the baking industry on better ways to preserve the consistency of fresh product.  “Being a member of the BEMA network will put us face to face with the right companies that will benefit from Irinox’s technology and innovations that keep product weight loss to a minimum”, he says.

Upon Mr. van Bakergem joining, Ms. Kelly Allen, Membership Manager for BEMA had an opportunity to ask him a few questions about the role he plays in the industry.

Q: What do you love most about working in the baking industry?

A: Being able to assist baking operations in identifying most critical issues in their production process and educate them on how to successfully incorporate the Irinox system to improve product quality and dramatically reduce waste.

Q: Personal interests or volunteer activities that you enjoy?

A: I am very much into the culinary arts, reading, and sports activities.  I also enjoy coaching kids soccer.

Q: Tell us anything else you would like BEMA members to know about you or your company?

A: Irinox has mastered the art of collaboration between chefs and Engineering.  To date, Irinox is the only company that focuses on blast chilling and shock freezing, has an international chef network and continues to do the research involving this technology.
